Tadaland HK is proud to take part in the 2023 Hong Kong International Licensing Show (HKILS) organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) on 19-21 April, 2023.
We showcased products of our MBTI characters created based on the Myers Briggs 16 personality types. These included MBTI phone cases designed to present the uniqueness of each personality trait. As a Hong Kong brand, we also presented products to promote Hong Kong culture, such as apparel, stationery, toys, and lifestyle goods featuring our cute animal characters with their favourite Hong Kong food.
Our edutainment products were also popular at the HKTDC fair and generated a lot of interest, especially our original English songs aimed at helping kindergarten students learn phonics. We are open to considering publishing licensing and music licensing.
The highlight of the event was our mascot Apollo (INFP personality type) personally visiting the Hong Kong Exhibition Centre! The cute character made lots of new friends and was very popular among visitors and potential business partners.
When interviewed, Tadaland’s Executive Director Ms. Liora Li stated that potential partners are surprised that our Hong Kong company is able to combine the efforts of experts from different fields to create such highly-developed characters. She added that she was approached by over 40 local and overseas businesses specializing in malls, animation and cartoon production, fashion, food and drink, and gifts and stationery. We are certain that Tadaland will engage in many exciting collaborations in the future.
