
Tadaland x Central Market: My MBTI Playground
From 21 July to 24 August 2025, Tadaland partnered with Central Market to present “My MBTI Playground”—a personality-driven setup designed to promote emotional wellness, self-discovery, and creative placemaking.
This project marked Tadaland’s first official venue collaboration in Hong Kong, transforming the revitalized heritage site into an immersive experience inspired by the 16 MBTI personality types.
Key Highlights:
Online Personality Quiz
Visitors were invited to take Tadaland’s online personality quiz, designed to deliver playful yet meaningful insights into their MBTI type. This deepened their connection with the Tadamates and bridged their digital journey with the on-site experience.
Interactive Flip Wall
The centerpiece of the experience, featuring 32 rotating boards arranged in an 8×4 grid. Visitors could flip each board to uncover playful insights (like what each Tadamate loves to eat) while exploring the nuances of all 16 MBTI types.

Quote Passageway
A corridor lined with signature quotes from each Tadamate, offering bite-sized wisdom and relatable reflections on personality.

Art Exhibition
A curated showcase of 16 illustrated portraits paired with reflective quotes, fostering emotional resonance and self-awareness.

ASMR x Aromatherapy
A co-creation with OCO PARFUM, this multisensory installation combined ASMR visuals and aromatherapy to provide visitors with moments of calm and introspection.

Restroom Mirror Stickers
On the second floor, restroom mirrors surprised guests with witty Tadamate stickers, blending humor with reflection, both literal and metaphorical.

Themed Photo Zones Across All Floors
Playful installations of all 16 Tadamates encouraged visitor interaction. Window pane stickers, with the introverts greeting visitors in multiple languages and the extroverts in a playful water scene, celebrated the MBTI spectrum. Visitors were invited to complete a photo check-in journey and receive their Tadaland Islander ID—a token of participation and personality pride.




Retail Integration
A Tadaland pop-up store and offers from Central Market tenants, including Chart Coffee, OCO PARFUM, Bagels and TINY, enhancing visitor engagement and cross-brand synergy.

“My MBTI Playground” exemplifies Tadaland’s commitment to creating emotionally intelligent experiences that resonate with diverse audiences. This collaboration not only deepened local engagement but also demonstrated the potential of personality psychology as a tool for public art and community connection.
