Government Official Highlights Tadaland in TV Interview
Recently, Mr Raistlin Lau, JP, Under Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, was interviewed on Now TV’s Now Forum program, where he discussed the development and international opportunities of Hong Kong’s intellectual property (IP) industry. During the interview, he mentioned local IP success stories, including Tadaland.
Mr Lau emphasized that Hong Kong’s IP brands benefit from strong legal protections, a talented design community, and close connections to global markets, giving them a distinct competitive edge. He specifically cited Tadaland’s efforts to reach overseas markets, highlighting how our brand leveraged the Design Licensing and Business (DLAB) Support Scheme to partner with Kuala Lumpur’s MyTOWN Shopping Centre for online and offline activations. The collaboration was well received, boosting Tadaland’s visibility and reinforcing the global potential of Hong Kong’s IP industry.
We at Tadaland are excited to continue introducing our creative world to new audiences, connecting with more consumers, and showcasing the limitless creativity of Hong Kong’s IP sector.
