Liora Li & MBTI Expert William Lai Discuss MBTI Insights on Metro Finance
Liora Li, co-founder of Tadaland, and MBTI expert William Lai were recently invited to Metro Finance for a fascinating discussion on the book MBTI Interpersonal Adventure – How to Get Along with Different Personality Types When Living Together? Published by Ming Pao in mid-2024, the book offers a unique blend of storytelling and psychological insight, helping readers navigate interpersonal dynamics using MBTI principles.

During the interview, Liora shared how the book came to life—starting from MBTI-themed comics on Tadaland’s social media that captured the attention of Ming Pao editors, leading to a collaboration with William to create a comprehensive, illustrated guide. The book features 20 engaging stories that showcase how 16 distinct personality types interact, resolve conflicts, and support one another, emphasizing the importance of mutual understanding.

With MBTI gaining rapid popularity in Hong Kong, the authors addressed common misconceptions, stressing that stereotyping personality types is neither helpful nor accurate. Instead, the book focuses on how different types can collaborate effectively, reinforcing the idea that every personality has its strengths. This philosophy is reflected in the book’s 20 stories, where the 16 Tadamates rotate as protagonists, with multiple characters interacting to navigate challenges and build understanding.

Through insightful discussions and real-world applications, this book serves as a bridge for deeper interpersonal awareness. If you missed the interview, be sure to listen to it online (Part 1 | Part 2) and check out the book for a fresh perspective on MBTI and personal growth!
The book is now available at major bookstores in Hong Kong, including Eslite, Joint Publishing, and The Commercial Press, as well as select 7-Eleven convenience stores. You can also order the book online from the following websites:
