Celebrating a Year of Magic with MyTOWN
At Tadaland, we believe in the power of storytelling, creativity, and community. That’s why our collaboration with MyTOWN Shopping Centre in Kuala Lumpur has been such a special journey—one that began in Christmas 2024 and continues to bring joy to shoppers through our 16 beloved characters, immersive mall décor, interactive installations, exclusive redeemed gifts, and festive campaigns throughout the year.
From the start, our vision was clear: to create meaningful experiences that allow shoppers to step into the world of Tadaland, embrace their uniqueness, and celebrate together. Thanks to the incredible MyTOWN team, this collaboration has been enjoyable, fruitful, and truly inspiring.
Here’s a look at the exciting festivals we’ve brought to life so far:
Christmas 2024: Shine! Uniquely You, Joyfully Together
The magic of Christmas came alive at MyTOWN, with Apollo, Dante, Taro, and Mellow leading the festive excitement. A giant inflated Apollo became a favorite photo spot, inviting shoppers to take part in a photo contest and win prizes.
The celebrations reached new heights on 5 December 2024, when Tadaland’s co-founders, Liora and Jack, together with Mr Christopher Koh of MyTOWN, shared the story behind our collaboration and revealed insights into our mission and the personalities of the 16 Tadamates at MyTOWN’s media launch. To make the experience even more interactive, shoppers and influencers joined our personality quiz, discovering which Tadamate best matched their unique traits.
Chinese New Year 2025: Waves of Prosperity
For the Chinese New Year, we brought prosperity and excitement to MyTOWN with the theme "Waves of Prosperity". This campaign featured Jolly, Jimi, Pixi, and Mozzarella, adding an extra dose of energy and fun to the celebrations.
Festivities included thrilling lion dance performances, an interactive claw machine filled with Tadamates plushies, and other live performances. Seeing Jolly and Pixi mascots meet shoppers was a moment of pure joy, reminding us why we do what we do—creating experiences that leave lasting impressions.
One of the most exciting parts of this campaign was the exclusive redeemed gifts, where shoppers could take home limited-edition isometric stickers featuring their favorite Tadamates!
Valentine’s Day 2025: A Love-Filled Wonderland
For Valentine’s Day, MyTOWN set the stage for a heartwarming celebration, featuring Mellow and Mozzarella as the stars of the event. The mall installation was designed to radiate warmth and romance, creating a charming space where couples and families could capture special moments.
This beautifully curated setup turned every visit into a memorable experience, wrapping shoppers in a love-filled atmosphere. Seeing visitors embrace the spirit of the season reinforced our belief in the magic of connection.
Hari Raya 2025: Weaves of Gratitude
April marked the celebration of Hari Raya, a time of reflection, gratitude, and togetherness. The festive atmosphere was further enriched by Roro, Nico, Pierre, and Hoola, who appeared in traditional Malay costumes, adding a meaningful cultural touch to the celebration.
The mall was bustling with excitement, hosting cultural performances such as traditional dance, interactive workshops, and delightful tour line. The festival’s magic was amplified with Nico and Hoola mascots meeting shoppers, offering festive greetings and lively celebrations.
