Understanding Yourself and Others: Flying Cloud Bookstore x Tadaland Workshop

📅 Date: 8 July 2026 | 📍Location: Flying Cloud Bookstore
On 8 July 2026, Flying Cloud Bookstore transformed into a cozy hub of self-discovery, creativity, and shared stories. Ten participants, alongside the warm bookstore team, gathered for the Tadaland MBTI Workshop—an intimate evening designed to help people understand themselves, appreciate others, and build genuine relationships.
Guided by Expertise: The Quadrant Lens
The workshop was facilitated by Liora Li, co-founder of Tadaland, co-author of Tadaland’s book MBTI Interpersonal Adventure, and a Certified MBTI Practitioner.
Liora guided the group through the Quadrant Lens—an MBTI framework illuminating how personality preferences shape daily life, communication, and work rhythms. More than just categorization, it provides a gentle way to recognize, appreciate, and even fall in love with the unique traits in everyone around us.
The Heart of Tadaland: Connecting People Through Insight
While personality theory provided the framework, the true highlight was human connection.
As participants explored the 16 Tadamates (Tadaland’s characters representing the different personality types), the room filled with open, thoughtful dialogue. Attendees shared personal experiences through the Quadrant Lens, gaining fresh empathy for how others see the world. Tadaland’s mission came alive in real-time: turning individual self-awareness into a bridge that draws people closer.
Participants also enjoyed a DIY Heat-press Pouch activity, crafting custom keepsakes with their favorite Tadamates. Yet, the warm conversations around the table remained the true center of the evening.
A Growing Community Connected by Shared Journeys
This workshop was a beautiful testament to how our community continues to expand. From initial encounters at events like CON-CON and Hong Kong Illustration & Creative Show to gathering inside local spaces like Flying Cloud Bookstore, Tadaland is steadily weaving a tapestry of meaningful relationships. Seeing familiar faces return alongside new participants reminds us that our events do more than share insights: they bring people from all walks of life together into a growing, supportive circle.
For Tadaland, helping people understand themselves is simply the first step. The ultimate goal is bringing people together. This is the essence of Tadaland -- the Personality World, where differences connect us.
